Edward: Ah, a vacation is exactly what we need, huh guys?
Ken: Yeah, even I need a break.
Kiara: So where are going this year, Edward?
Edward: We're going to Fiji!
Ken: Ooh, now you're talking!
Rodney: Did you say Fiji?
Edward: Yeah.
Rodney: Can I go?
Edward: Oh, why not?
Rodney: Yes!
Kiara: You think he'll be fine in Fiji?
Edward: Oh yeah, he and Ken'll have fun while you and I go for romantic evening.
Kiara: Ooh.
[phones Dysart]
Dysart: [picks up phone] Hello, oh hi Edward.
Edward: I was wondering if you wanted to come for a little RnR with us.
Dysart: To where?
Edward: Fiji.
Dysart: Sounds nice, I'm in.
Edward: Great, I'll coe pick you on the way.
Dysart: I'll meet you guys there instead.
Edward: Meet us, how will you get there though?
Dysart: Don't worry, I have my ways, see you soon.
Edward: See you there.
[hangs up phone]
Rodney: Let's do this!
[theme music plays]
Rodney: Now this is paradise!
Ken: Ooh, a shooting arcade game, wanna play?
Rodney: You're on!
[wipes to next scene]
Kiara: Now this is romantic.
Edward: I'll say... the sunset is beautiful... as well as you are.
Kiara: Oh... Edward.
Dysart: Can I take your order?
Edward: I didn't order anythi-- oh hi Dysart.
Kiara: How did you...?
Dysart: I told you, I have my ways.
Edward: Oh look, even Stacy's here, hi Stacy!
Dysart; Really, where?
Kiara: Over there, see?
Dysart; Oh yeah, hi Stace!
[Stacy comes over]
Stacy: Hey guy's, I didn't expect to see you guys here.
Kiara: What's with the uniform.
Stacy: Yeah, I'm pretty much working here.
Edward: Why?
Stacy: It's a long story.
Kiara: Why don't join us?
Stacy: Oh, I don't know...
Edward: No come on, I don't mind, do you Dysart?
Dysart: Nope, not at all.
Stacy: Well, I guess I could use a little time off.
Kiara: At a girl, now ditch the cruddy uniform, and put these on.
[Gives her some clothes, five minutes]
Stacy: So, what do you think?
Kiara: Wow, you look amazing.
Edward: Not bad, not bad at all.
Dysart: So now your ready to have some time off.
Rodney: Beach Party!
[plays music]
Edward: Why not.
[All start danceing, a few hours later]
Rodney: Edward, it's getting late, shouldn't we be in bed?
Edward: Dude, it's like-- oh, it's midnight. Time to hit the sack!
[Edward brushes his teeth]
Edward: Peace and quiet, just like home. [sighs, snores]
[fades to black]
Rodney: Yes! Day 2 of this awesome vacation! [gasps] Jessie! [zips to see jessica] What's up?
Jessica: Whoa, Rodney, I didn't see you here.
Rodney: So how's it going? You look mighty fine in that Fiji swimsuit.
Jessica: What?
Rodney: What? So what are you here for?
Jessica: I'm taking a vacation!
Rodney: Me too! I heard there's a festival tonight! Wanna join me?
Jessica: I dunno...
Rodney: Please?
Jessica: Ok...
Rodney: Yes! Later!
Edward: Why are you happy?
Rodney: I got a date tonight!
Edward: Rodney, you dog... with who?
Rodney: Jessica!
Edward: You mean the girl with the sandals?
Rodney: Yeah! I also heard there was a festival tonight!
Edward: A festival? I'll bring Kiara and make it a double date!
Rodney: Sure, and Ken might need a date! I'll talk to him! Later.
Edward: This should be good.
Dysart: What should be good?
[slurps drink]
Edward: Dysart, glad I ran into you, do you know if Stacy would want to come to the festival tonight?
Dysart: I dunno, why?
Edward: Bacause me, Rodney, Ken, and their dates too, will all be going there.
[stops slurpping]
Dysart: So what your trying to say is, that you want Stacy, to be your date?
Edward: Not my date, yours.
[spits out juice]
Dysart: What?
Edward: What's wrong, you nervous?
Dysart: Well, maybe a little.
Edward: I thought you and her had something.
Dysart: Yeah "had" but now, we're just friends, and things never looked better.
[Both look at Stacy and wave at her]
Edward: I'm not gonna force you man, but think about, I mean look at her, she's working, while we are on vacation, and don't you think that maybe she wants to have fun too?
Dysart: I guess your right.
Edward: At a boy, now I gotta go find Kiara, see ya!
Dysart: [Talking to himeslf] Okay, I could do this, I could do this.
[Goes to see Stacy]
Dysart: Hi Stacy.
Stacy: Oh hi Dysart, what's up, can I get you something?
Dysart: No, I'm not here to buy.
Stacy: Oh, do you want a refill?
Dysart: No, I'm not here to get a refill either, I wanted to ask you something.
Stacy: Okay, what is it?
Dysart: Are you awar the there's a festival going on tonight?
Stacy: Yep, in fact I'll be working there so...
Dysart: Okay that's it.
[leaps over table]
Stacy: Dysart, what are you doing!?!
[takes her in the back]
Stacy: Uh, why are you locking the door?
[Stacy begins to feel nervous]
Stacy: What are you gonna...
[Dysart sits down]
Dysart: Why are you working so much?
Stacy: I'm paying off my debt.
Dysart: I knew something wasn't right.
Stacy: Okay, so I lied, but why do you care, in fact you said that you and I are better off friends and...
Dysart: Wait, is that what this whole thing is about, the way you've been treating me, is that it?
Stacy: I'm sorry, I didn't mean for it to sound so bad.
Dysart: I'm the one who should be sorry...
Stacy: Hmm?
Dysart: Stacy, just let me pay it all off.
Stacy: I really owe alot Dysart, are you sure?
Dysart: How much is it?
Stacy: Five hundred dollars.
[Dysart pulls out his wallet and he and Stacy go to the mangager]
Owner: Hey Smith, what are doing out of uniform, and who are you?
Dysart: A friend of hers, here.
[Gives owner the money]
Dysart: Is off the hook now?
Owner: It is five hundred, okay she's off.
Dysart: Thank you, come on.
Owner: That, is one lucky girl.
[Wipes to next scene]
Stacy: You didn't have to that you know.
Dysart: I know, but it's what friends, they look out for each other.
Stacy: I really don't know how I'm gonna make it up, huh?
[Dysart grabs Stacy's hands, Stacy begins to feel nervous]
Dysart: Just come with me to the festival.
Stacy: Okay.
[fades to black; Ed vs Ed short: Island of Death plays; cuts to black]
Edward: Hey, Kiara, I heard there was a festival tonight! Wanna be my date?
Kiara: I'd love to, what about Rodney?
Edward: He's got a date too.
Kiara: And Ken?
Edward: Rodney's taking care of it.
Kiara: D?
Dysart: Tooken care of.
Edward: You mean?
Dysart: Yep, she and I are gonna be at the festival tonight.
Edward: That's great to hear Dysart.
[wipes to next scene]
Ken: You got a date?
Rodney: Yep... and I'm gonna hook you up with a date.
Ken: Cool... I guess. Whoa, who's that?
Rodney: I don't know, but she can shoot.
[wipes to next scene]
Festival Announcer: Welcome to the Fiji Festival!
Edward: Cool!
[crowd cheers]
Kiara: Where's Rodney and his date?
Jessica: Where's Rodney?
Rodney: What's up?
Jessica: Where were you? The festival has already started!
Rodney: I was helping a friend.
Ken: [talking to a girl] How's it going?
Rodney: Anyway, ready?
Jessica: Sure.
Rodney: [to himself] This is gonna rock.
Edward: Whoa! Nice fire pole!
Fire Pole Whelder: Thank you.
[a few hours later]
Edward: Well, it was been a fun vacation!
Rodney: I know... I finally had the best date of my life!
Kiara: Me too. You made that fire pole stunt look awesome.
Edward: Thanks Kiara, How about you, Ken?
Ken: Well, thanks to Rodney, I got my date's number.
Edward & Rodney: Nice!
Rodney: I just might have a chance with Jessie after all.
Edward: True dat, Rodney, true dat.
Kiara: Hey, where's Dysart and Stacy?
Rodney: I don't know, do you know where they might be?
Ken: Beats me.
Edward: I'll go look for them.
[Edward finds Dysart and Stacy]
Edward: Hey, there you guys comen on, we have to go now...huh?
[Edward see's Dysart and Stacy lying next to each other]
Kiara: Don't they make such cute couple?
Edward: Yeah they do, don't they?
Dysart: So, what do you want to do now before head home?
Stacy: This.
[Stacy kisses Dysart on the cheek]
Kiara: Oh that's so cute.
Edward: Maybe you and I should have one kiss too before we go.
[Dysart, Stacy, Edward, and Kiara kiss though out the moonlight]
Stacy: Best night ever.
[fades to black; end credits]
